The children photograph the city
Children Photograph the City
A Summer Activity by the Municipality of Tripoli
Curated by the Social Cooperative Enterprise “5ENTE”
Dates: July 20–26, 2020
Target audience: Children and teens aged 9–14, together with their parents
Tripoli is full of hidden gems—beautiful corners of the city that are either unknown to most residents or whose beauty requires a careful eye to be truly appreciated.
Urban and suburban parks, old mansions (restored or in decay), small neighborhoods with narrow alleys — all of them hold visual traces of the city’s not-so-distant past. Some remain untouched, others bear the patina of time.
This activity invites children and their parents to explore, photograph, and rediscover these places through their own unique perspective and sense of aesthetics. The resulting photos will be shared with the local community and visitors alike.
